Today's mission is to dress EXTRA smart! Already wear a suit to the office? Try a bow tie or an elaborate hairstyle... Take the bins out in a cocktail dress, or break out your lucky underwear...
I feel like I kinda copped out with this challenge. Here's why: I had an appointment around midday and I knew if I rocked up in a formal gown it may be a tad inappropriate and would, without a doubt, become a topic of discussion. In addition, it's SUPER-DUPER hot where I live this time of year (it's not unusual to have a slew of 40C days) and I knew that if I wore a cocktail dress I'd sweat right through it and it would be disgusting...for everyone. Sure, I could wear that cream faux fur coat and 6 inch stilettos and sunglasses the size of my face but I would probably faint from heat exhaustion. So...the weather felt a tad limiting.
Anyway, in the end I tired to strike a happy medium. I wore something that wouldn't induce heat exhaustion and something that I'd wear out to a club but a club that has no section strictly for brands of caviar...and still has beer on tap. You can't really see it but those are pink heels, my friends.

I almost feel that by posting these photos (especially the first) my relationship with the internet has reached another level. It's like now you can't get all TO-ed because I've posted a full body shot (Napoleon Dynamite reference, anyone?)
On a related note, so...err... I was thinking, Internet, if you weren't doing anything for Valentine's Day then perhaps you'd be mine? Because I feel like we have a really great connection, and I love spending time with you, and time goes so quickly when I'm with you, and you never judge me when I want to watch stupid videos on YouTube for 5 hours straight or google Christian Bale for no apparent reason...I just, I cannot deny it, you're my type.
