Recap: I did compliment some friends and family throughout the day but I didn't encounter many strangers to compliment. The only person I spoke with today who could be classified as a 'stranger' was the guy who owns my local fish and chips. He's owned the place for at least 5 years and knows my family pretty well. We're on that level of acquaintance where you'd say hello to each other outside where you'd normally see one another. But picking up the dinner, during that short exchange of money and food, there was no real opportunity to compliment him without appearing like a MAJOR creep.
Oh well. I half succeeded and half failed today's challenge.
I am now going to go collapse. Fingers crossed that I actually manage to sleep tonight.
